It's been a few days since I last posted. Problems with the wheel: After a few days, and some game updates, sound went into static mode when I plugged the wheel in. I uninstalled and reinstalled the software, but it didn't help. I've been reading other posts were people were having trouble between the wheel and USB headphones. Sound got distorted after plugging in the wheel. Mine did the same thing, however, I'm using Bose Companion 5 speakers, which are USB. What I found out was hooking up to the front side USB hub, the sound distorted. If I hook up to the POWERED 2.0 USB HUB, all is fine. Works everytime.

Recently, I installed another sound type device to the frontside USB, and got a message that the device required more band width than what was available. I hooked into the POWERED 2.0 USB HUB, and all is well. Works everytime.

It seems that the Wheel must be hooked up to a powered USB port. I guess on some systems, the frontside ports are NOT powered.

Hope this helps others with this issue.
