Default Car Models/Render Scenes
Masgrafix is down right now, so, is there anywhere else i can get car models?

i got a few scenes but the 2 i want, one is at mas, so thats cool i can chill, but the other is one ive seen, it was like the fuel cell exploded and the back end of teh cars is engulfed in flames, and teh driver is climbing out the drivers side window.

but where might be another good spot to hit for cool render scenes?

this 3ds max is aggravating, and, unlike when i 1st started painting cars, this isnt a very fun kinda aggravation.

thanks

xzer01x you have other choices other than 3ds max. Max is really easy to use if all you have to do it add a paint. I put together most of the max scenes on the net so if you need help we are here!

yeah im finnding that out, but, ill get the hang of it if only slowly,

heres one i did, that too me a while to figure out cause for some reason in the owr model i was using i couldnt get the picture in teh background until i did it in teh render option.

My THLRL OWL Car with My fav driver, Jason Leffler driving in the indy 500.

not too bad i guess, couldve done tis with car viewer and PSP and some nifty editimg, and it prolly wouldve looked better since the car is too clear, byut ehLOL.

you have to spin the tires (Ask Tough) and set the car the same angle as Jason's car.

the tire spin thing LOL yeah that and teh fact that there is no shadows on my car, i kinda realized that afterwards.

its weird, its the only OWR model i have that works in 7/brazil tho. i DLed 4, one i cant get the skin to change, one doesnt work at all, the 4th like, its weird, the flat, its a different looking template then i painted, i didnt realize that there was more than one OWR sytle temp.

the tire spin deal, is that a matter of just DLing a set of tires and putting that thexture ove the originak tires in like the material layer?

ive seen som kick ass tire textures i might DL and try.

bt yeah, ill get the hang of it to make stuff OK, i dont think ill get nearly as good with 7/brazil than some of the people ive seen that render.

thanks for teh advice, i really wish the program it self was a tad easier to use, more along the line of PSP or PSD.
