Default SSNet COT Rims
Is there a tire/rim combo that will take the template and automatically change the color of the rim? I know there's one for the Dan Nisbet COT mod, but I haven't seen one for the SSNet.

If you mean for rendering,I have'nt seen anything either. all i do then is open my car in a paint program, put the color picker over it and make a note of the rgb settings. then when rendering, put the same settings in the rim diffuse color box.

Yea. I have my site doing renders and I just got tired of doing that for the multitudes of people. I grab the color editor and attempt to match it up but it doesn't work for custom tire temps. I've been hoping someone might be able to make a rim (in two parts that the template goes on) to make the rim the same as the template. It's crazy though how it works ingame but no one has come out with it for the render.

Well you can take the xfiles and make your own scene with the original wheels and they will change colors.

Well I'm not tech savvy enough to understand what you mean. Can you explain that a little more?

I mis-understood. Your wanting the actual rim and tire ingame?

lol it's for a render scene. I'm trying to make a scene that has the rims integrated with the template. Right now, we have to change the color in the maps, however some people are using multiple colors on the template. The only way to solve that would be make a rim mesh for 3ds Max which would take the template and wrap the rim in the color of the template. This would give one material ball for the entire scene rather than the two (Car and Rim).

Did I explain that right? lol
