Teams figured out how to win the Chase? What, by doing as well as possible in the 10 races that make up the Chase and hope you're lucky enough that nothing bad happens to you? Doesn't really take a rocket scientist to figure that out.

I'm not sure exactly what you want? There's gotta be some variability in the format to allow for all possible outcomes here. Johnson has by no means walked all over the field and made three consecutive chases boring. Johnson's just done what he needed to do in order to win. Every Chase this far, all 4 of them, have come down to the last race. What more can you ask for? Are you going to penalize Jimmie Johnson because Kyle Busch came into the Chase with a big lead and totally blew it? That wasn't Johnson's fault...

Now I do expect that more tweaking is coming to the Chase. However, I do not think or agree that Johnson's 3-peating (assuming he does) is some indirect indictment of the Chase format at all.
