Hey everybody, I was just wondering what you all do to reduce the amount of static sound in game with 3d sound on. I have the real life sound pack v2.0, and with 3d sound enabled it has a lot of static. just wonder if there is a way to correct this?

Thanks!

Does anyone know if there are any carset out there for this mod that are actual cars that ran in the ASA series back in the late 80's or 90's? I know Racin Grafix has some cars painted for this one, but I am looking for actual cars and not fictional ones. (call me crazy, but I like real cars over fictional ones)

If there is none, does anyone know of any site out there that has either pics of the cars that ran in the ASA back during these years or one that would have a list of the drivers/standings from those years. At least if I could find that I could work on painting on them myself.

GTP Mod Fixes?

Don't get me wrong, this mod is awesome fun but boy could it have used some tweaking. I'm about to start tweaking the tracks I currently have (about 70 with the relevant GTP files in) using the transferable part of BrunoB's LeMans AI hack, but before I do... as that is an awful lot of groundwork, does anyone know if there is a quick fix download? If not my most major concerns are: does anyone know a way to stop the cars from bouncing? That is a severe annoyance, especially when a minor tangle results in my own or an AI car tipping over. Also does anyone know how to stop the cars from running into each other, the ini doesn't seem to be optomized and they tend to rear end each other and finally does anyone know how to make them less sensitive to sliding out on the minorest of tap? You simply cannot hit the AI without them sliding out (and I have already downloaded Papy AI.) If there are no simple fixes what part of the ini's should I be tweaking?

:arghh: I have a question regarding the cars and carsets downloads. I downloaded several cars and I seem to be getting the same result when I view in NC2K3, they look broken up in the game rather than as pictured prior to downloading; the car detail or paint scheme that is. Do I have to have a specific mod for these to look right? I saw the note that states "these cars are for the ss.net mod." Any help would be greatly appreciated; I was looking to get the 2010, 2009 cars for NC2K3.:p
