Default Hello everyone in the sim racing world  
Hi everyone, I got to say I have seen some nice cars painted by all the painters on here. I tried painting my own car and gave up, not as easy as I thought it would be. Is GIMP a good paint program to try and start learning how to paint cars? Thanks for all the great cars to keep the sim up to date!

Don't give up! It just takes some practice. GIMP is a good free solution, although I prefer GIMPshop (also free).

Don't give up on painting. You've got to produce stuff that is, simply, not good, in order to learn and gain the skills to create a piece of art like what you see here. Keep on pluggin' away at it.

Or just give up and beat them racing with cars they painted for you! Just kidding, if you keep tryin you will at least paint pretty good after awhile but I also agree with you that some guys are really talented at painting, I just aint one of them yet! LOL---------but Im drinkin milk!
