Sim Racing Design

I am new to this kind of thing, so please be kind to me . I am an older guy that likes nascar, and sim racing. I have nascar sim racing 2005 for pc it works great. But it will not play on my new lap top with vista. said something about not playing the 3d thing. I know you guys know what I am talking about. thanks for your help.
