you're right, it's just one of the biggest races to win. let's just all be passive and let whoever can jump around you on the inside or outside just take the win from you |

Good race. Wild finish. Shrub could have won if he tried to ride the bottom...but he chose to make a show of it...with some of his movements did seem a little overzealous in trying to keep Tony out of the lead...and he ended up 14th.
It is good to see him walk away after those hard hits....it just goes to show how safe the COT is. And he did do the smartest thing he could have, following the wreck, by declining comment. Also...however you look at it...whether Shrub went up or Tony went down, the 18 ended up in the wall and the 14 won the race....its a racin' deal. The 14, 11, 18, and 48 were the class of the field...but the best car with the best pit crew today won. The 14 crew was absolutely electric tonight...7 for 7...amazing. Oh...and how about Marcos Ambrose. Great to see him with a 6th place finish. He's really starting to run better all the way around. He's securely in the top 20 in points.

It's Talladega all over again. It's just the drivers are different and the car that got turned didn't go in the fence. Just like the 2009 Aaron's 499, I will NEVER forget this race.
At 2 to go, when Kyle passed Stewart, I'm pretty sure EVERYONE was peeved at Busch. Everyone then relied on Johnson to get Stewart back where he belongs. Johnson did what he needed to. As they entered the tri-oval, it looked as if Ky. Busch's car bottomed out he exited 4. That then probably forced Kyle to let out just a little bit. Not much, but just a little. Well, when and if Kyle rolled out of the throttle, he still thought he was the fastest thing out there and he decided to turn up into a faster Tony Stewart who was still using momentumn from Johnson. Then, Talladega strikes back........Good grief, I thought the hits would never stop coming. The wall, Kahne, and Logano all hit Kyle very hard. Kahne just had nowhere to go but into the back bumper of the 18 which looked very similar to the 99 on the 39 back in April. Then he took one more good shot from humorously his teammate Logano. As for Kyle not wanting to talk to the media, good call. You're already took the Most Hated Driver award from Jeff Gordon, he didn't need to say anything that Kyle Busch haters would stick to him so that was a good call there. And for not wanting to go to the Infield Care Center, kudos to NASCAR there. Everyone involved in a crash MUST go to the Infield Care Center. Kyle didn't want to, NASCAR stepped up. I heard Stewart say that he wondered if he did anything wrong, he didn't. Kyle turned himself, case closed. As for Denny Hamlin "getting away" with the yellow line rule, I say REGAN SMITH WON THE 2008 AMP ENERGY 500!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
