This day in age you even see top tier drivers like Gordon, Kenseth, Edwards running multiple sponsors per season. I'd say it would be an extremely difficult task for one company to sponsor one car for an entire season.

Robby has sponsership 8 races. He stills plans to run all 36 races with sponsers or without. By what I've heard until Robby gets someone he can put in his seat (David Gilliland or Paul Menard), He won't retire. He wants to find a VERY talented friver to replace him. I don't think he will retire until he wins a race with RGM. I'm sure he will do at least 1 more Indy 500 and he also plans on doing th Dakar for a good 4-5 years. He did state though that he will not S&P, and that if he doesn't have enough extra money laying around to run a full cup race he isn't even going to show up. (which is an admirable thing on his part).


But don't let him fool you, he can run a 2 car team out of his and (the teams co-owner) John Menards pocket, but he doesn't want to do that because then he'll have less money to spend on his other forms of racing.


Personally I kinda want him to do the "Ken Schrader" thing, racing what he wants, when he wants, where he wants not being tied down to any one series.
