I've only recently paid attention to the fact that Robby Gordon has had numerous paint schemes in one season alone. I was wondering what the deal with that was? If you compare his paint schemes for a season against the rest of the cars on a given weekend, he almost never has the same paint scheme twice. Is this a case of being financially secure for his endeavors, or is it the other way around and he has just strung together multiple sponsorship deals to make it through the season?

Robby works on a very tight budget, he has A LOT of small sponsors. This is why there is always a paint scheme change.

Also if you notice, the design of his schemes are the same, just the colors change from week to week.

Robby has sponsership 8 races. He stills plans to run all 36 races with sponsers or without. By what I've heard until Robby gets someone he can put in his seat (David Gilliland or Paul Menard), He won't retire. He wants to find a VERY talented friver to replace him. I don't think he will retire until he wins a race with RGM. I'm sure he will do at least 1 more Indy 500 and he also plans on doing th Dakar for a good 4-5 years.
In summary, Robby will not be leaving NASCAR or motorsports in general for a long time.
