I know, I thought it was odd that Nascar.com ran a rumor for their main story and tried to make it sound like it was official. Hopefully the media will stop making anything Danica related bloated.

So the old 36 car ios now the 10 car and the old 35 car will be the new 36 car? And will SHR only put stuff into Reutis's/Danicas car or will Blaney profit from this aswell?

If you watch any of the videos of her reactions, you will see that she acts like a spoiled child. She also has done close to nothing during her career and would have been out of a job years ago if she was a man. Not to mention, she pretty much tries to sell her body in those GoDaddy photoshoots. Every other female racer on the circuit at least tries to keep their integrity and be a true racer, rather than going about with "oh, look at me! I'm a woman so it doesn't matter where I place because I'll still have men at my feet!" tattooed to their head. After what happened with Erin Crocker, the last thing that this sport needs is for a driver like Danica to ruin any possible sense of gender equality that NASCAR might have had.

Look at drivers like Milka Duno, Jennifer Jo Cobb, Pippa Mann, Shawna Robinson, Tina Gordon, Patty Moise, Chrissy Wallace and Ashley Force Hood. THOSE are women that are there to race, not just be pretty faces in cars.

I'm just saying, there are a few reasons for the hate that she gets.

Drafting really doesn't have anything to do with being on the front row. Also Tony followed a similar path up to the cup series with Greg as his Crew Chief and he qualified 2nd in 1999 (his very first Cup start).

There is a slight difference between a driver that only won one race in seven years on the open-wheel circuit and an IndyCar champion.

Yeah but having great results in IndyCar isn't necessary to do well in Nascar. When I compared Tony to Danica I was mostly talking about doing part time Nationwide (Busch) and full time IndyCar for two years then the Daytona 500 as their first Cup race.




I can't believe that SHR didn't use the #14 points. Hopefully this will end up being good for TBR!

I am done throwing gas on this fire. I learned a few years back not to get involved in this debate, must have slipped my mind last night. I dont want sway anyone into liking her, I just see a lot of ignorance in what some people judge her on. Maybe I am wrong and its a travesty shes in NASCAR but I dont feel that way. More power to anyone living the dream no matter their background. It takes balls to strap in to a racecar week after week.
