SRD Pick'em will continue in 2009, starting with Daytona.

After the success of the 2008 season's game, I hope everyone looks forward to 2009.

The game is still open to rule changes before the season, so if anyone has any reccomendations, please leave your suggestions here.

Yea the short lingo for the series were the cup, busch and truck and now the nationwide series has no one syllable jargon for it.

The SRD Pick'em Series will continue in 2010, starting with the events at Daytona in February.

As the SRD Pick'em Series heads into its 4th season (3rd full), I wish everyone luck in 2010, and hope that the 2010 season will be yet another successful year for everyone involved. I'm looking forward to it.

I love this game!

Good to see you are running it for another year. I'm ready for another chase appearance, maybe a win or two.

I actually cost myself two wins in 2009 because of bad preliminary picks.

The only thing I would reccomend for 2010 is to make the Shootout kind of like Pick 'Em for Cup, maybe guessing the top three, give the duels two picks. That's all I reccomend.

Mike, I don't have a rules change suggestion, but I was wondering if a top 5's and/or top 10's column could be placed on the point standing stats...if it's time consuming, then don't worry about it.

SRD Pick'em 2009 - Daytona 500


The non-points events at Daytona work like how the All-Star Race works with the 600. The points earned from those events apply to the weekend total for the 500.

It wouldn't be too hard to do. And not very time consuming, at all.

I'll just have to see if it would over clutter/complicate how the standings look, with the additional columns and numbers.

For every week there is a Cup Series race, I will post a thread for the coming race weekend. In that thread you will post your picks for the week.


Look through some of the old Pick'em threads, and read the first post of this thread for the rules. It's pretty self explanatory.
