Will the RED LIGHT Kurt Busch penalty change any rules with NASCAR?
Regardless of what you may think personally of Kurt Busch good or bad, do you think a rule change should be in order? Remember this could be your favorite driver during the Chase with one race to go, a hell of a way to lose a Championship on a technicality!

Really what was Busch to do with 5 feet to spare, flat spot his tires and stop right there, turn left into traffic, pull into your pit and ask for a do over?

I believe there should be a buffer zone when entering pit lane which allows for such an instance whereas you can bail out if the light comes on or do a drive thru and assume your current position when the field froze for the caution. I know its racing and you can get bit but wait till it does cost someone a Championship with this kind of money with Sponsors at stake and NASCAR will get snake bit.:O

Opinions?

Whew!!! Okay, now that the 8 and 24 have officially made the chase i can reply... i think that Nascar should have zero tolerance for all rules. If they make any type of exception for anyone or start changing the rules late into the season then they will start to look like F1. My opinion off course does not apply to any rules changes made in regards to safety.

I believe the following race they did move the light back a bit for better reaction time.
