Here is the link to the story:
Jayski'sŪ Silly Season Site - Nationwide Series Testing News There are a few images of what the new Nationwide COT will probably look like. Keep in mind, however, that since this is the first on-track test for the new car, nothing has been finalized yet, as the manufacturers have not decided what model of car they will eventually use. The new car will likely undergo some changes before the final version is decided upon. The Nationwide COT is scheduled to make its official series debut at Daytona in 2010. Another test for the Nationwide COT is scheduled for October 13-14 at Lowe's Motor Speedway. Comments? James

Some larger/additional pictures:
![]() Pretty obvious that Toyota will be using the Camry still. ![]() Looks kind of like the 2010 Fusion? Not sure. ![]() ![]() Not really sure what Chevy model this is. ![]() ![]() ![]() My favorite out of all of them, the Challenger! I love the look, but I wonder how the areo stacks up? And why does it have 6 hood pins? Do you take the entire hood off? I wish the cup cars looked like this. |

I really like the Challenger. It would be really cool if Ford can the Mustang and Chevy ran the new Camaro, but what would Toyota run? A Corola or Celica?

Will Sprint cup cars also change their models, I mean they are all the same except for the back windows and the manufacturers decals.

The chevy is the camaro, and the ford is the new mustang. The dodge is the challenger and toyota is staying with camry cause there isnt much difference between it and other models.Nascar wants to use pony cars for nationwide and thats from a reliable source.
