Well this definitely looks like it'll be a throw away week for the chasers, and even some of the non-chasers who need their best 22 races.
NASCAR had their vague ruling this weekend on the winner, and it appears that SRD Pick'em will follow suit. dspence20 and jaqua99 tied for the win this weekend, and both will recieve 40 points for 1st. However, becasue dspence20's order of picks was truer to the finishing order than jaqua99's, dspence20 is credited with the win in the win column for the week. But its more of a figurehead, whereas the points matter more... Here are the results for Talladega: jaqua99 extends his points lead to 78 over DE3, and 181 over John Gregorio. dspence20 jumps to 6th, 398 out of the lead. DaveyFan28 holds down 10th, due to missing his picks for New Hampshire, but holds down the 2nd best chase average, thus far, along with dspence20. Outside of the chase, the 22 race totals are beginning to take shape, and the battle for 11th and bragging rights is on. scottw73 holds down 11th, with 73duster47, a two time winner in the regular season, who missed the chase, 78 back in 12th. Here are the standings.
