I'm starting this thread to help out those of us with this new wheel. I just received it tonight via newegg.com and so far it is pretty amazing. (2 days from purchase to arrival at my front door BTW) .

Only issue I'm having is assigning neutral with the gearshifter, is this not possible?

Anyway, list any tweaks or obscure findings that may help our community out that have spent the money for this wheel to keep this sim alive!

In the game under options where you calibrate controller my neutral shows kp5 I believe this is the default. I didn't assign any controller buttons and when shifter is in neutral the car is in neutral. I have issues using my usb logitech headset with the G25, big time distortion,Contacted customer support and they sent me a new rca plug set no charge.

Make sure your gearbox is set to H-pattern and not direct selection. It will give you neutral by default.

I'll try the H pattern. I thought I tried that and it wasn't working right.

Sure...I tried the H-pattern and it works great! This wheel is of much higher quality than the black Momo I had. I recommend this wheel to anyone looking to upgrade from your "best Buy" wheel.

I bought one last year and I love it. I feel kike I drive smoother now too

The best part about it is the brake pedal stiffness

From hrt_Mike17 @ RuRa.

Quote:
Was practicing last night when I went to get into first and it wouldnt go in. I couldnt get into 1st, 2nd, 5th or 6th. I thought the "gate" that allows just sequential shifting possibly broke, since I still had 3rd and 4th gear. So i took the alan key screws out and lifted up the boot, and it was not the sequential shifting gates. There is a platic peice that holds the boot up at the top, and that slid down, not allowing me to get into any gears. I simply removed it totaly (so it didnt happen again) and now the shifter is fine.

Simple fix, and not a problem that is actually with the wheel/pedals/shifter, I really dont know what you would classify the problem as, but it was actually pretty cool, it was like a real tranny problem

Just thought I'd give the G25 owners a heads up just incase it happends to them, its not a real problem at all. I'm sure im one in the few that will experiance it.

only prob i have been having as of late is that when my shifter is in 2nd, every now and then it registers as 4th then goes back to second, so now i use my paddles to shift.
