FPS
I'm sure this question has been asked a ton of times, but i can't seem to find a clear answer. My FPS keeps jumping way to high or way to low. I was doing a test session at watkins glen, and my FPS went from 120 to bout 158, and is started running slow Then it would go back down to 120 and be fine. I was at daytona and it dropped to 5. What can i do to fix this?

Have you guys tried any of the tweaks for NR2003?
Especially these ones.... 30+ Racing NASCAR 2003 Tweaks I can't help you on what frame rates i'm getting on my new machine (NR2003 no longer installed), but my old one ran happily all day with everything maxxed out sitting on 185fps. Jeff

I had the same problem when I built my new dual core system. Had frame rates of 100+ but would get alot of freeze frame kind of stuff and frame rates up and down. Not sure if yours is a dual core PC or not as no specs were posted but after I installed the AMD dual core optimizer it was all fixed and ran smoother than ever.

I run a dual core Quad without issues, however I noticed that frame rates can change with the sever quite drastically. The league I run in now changed servers recently and it was like night and day compared to the old one.
Also what is your "ping" at? |

I dont think the system is the issue. Yours is comparable to mine and I have everything maxed out on the graphics and dont have any issues. Are there any applications or processes running in the background stealing your cpu power?
