i was wondering if anyone can paint
2009- #14 Stewart 2009- #24 Jeff Gordon 2009 - #48 Jimmie Johnson 2009 - #39 Ryan Newman 2009 - #99 Carl Edwards and if there is any other drivers that are being updated. So if anyone can find these or paint them that would be sweet. Thanks |

I can tell you that I have the #5, #24, #48 & #88 bases, numbers done for the 2009 season. But why people are wanting them already is beyond me. We all know that contingencies have not been set in stone yet, possibly more mergers on the horizon, Associate Sponsors might come & go....so many more things are left to be decided.
SRD, as I am sure other sites as well...are working on 2009 cars & carsets & will release them when we (we being atleast SRD), are sure everything is in place. |

I'm really not talking about how the contingencies line up on the template....even though there are some good sets out there. What I am more or less getting at is what sponsor decals will be used if any new ones at all.
Also like I say, the 08 season is less than a week in the books & people are looking for & wanting 2009 schemes already......why? |

I know you were talking about what decals were going to be used for the '09 cars. I seriously doubt that there will be new ones, however.
And about the 2009 schemes... my guess is that people just want them to have them early? |

As far as wanting them early, thats fine but we all know that they for the most part will change here & there. |

We know the 60th anniversary NASCAR decal is gonna be changed and probably the Coors Pole will be different too. What they'll look like is anybody's guess. And last year nobody foresaw the addition of MAHLE to the contigs, that deal wasn't final until race time. It was a PITA to go back and change all the cars to the new contig layout too, the ss.net cars are great but the front end mapping makes decal line-up kinda tricky.
I may have some bases done and logos and numbers but this year I'm not finalizing anything for 2009 until after the 500 has been run. |
