Idea Adding Skins to the Game....
There are a couple of ways to do this

Frist paint your car the way you what it...

Now, you need one of two thing to convert it to .dds

this is the plugin for Photoshop also for PSP

Adobe Photoshop Plug-ins

this is a converter that you can use outside the painting programs you use

http://www.cactusracing.com/download...verter_v21.exe

Now, That you have them downloaded we can move on

ok now open your file you what to convert (in PSD) Hit these three keys (ctrl-shift-S) this will open up save as.. window now where format is click on the down arrow then chosse .dds

This is where is gets alittle tricky... you can a couple things from here you can save it as the name you named it... or you can go the rFactor root folder /gamedata/Vech/then your mod you have painted then to team folder and chosse the car file you what to replace and name it the same as what the car is ( that way everyone and see it online) it only be seen by the people who you have given the new car to but it not mess with the servers because the name has not changed.....

I've run into a problem myself. I painted a Gallardo, turned it into a dds file, put it into its own custom directory & changed the veh file to the required info. The problem is, in the game it only shows up as a black car.
