It's one I put together... did you do a track scene similar to this?
Really? Seems you take alot of peoples stuff and cal it your own.

Sorry, that was poor wording Jack, my apology.
I certainly didn't mean that to sound like I was taking all the credit for the render scene. What I meant was that I hadn't downloaded it as is from somewhere (if Darren had uploaded one like it somewhere), but that I had just put the background in this scene and moved the cars around to make it look right. I was just trying to understand what Darren had asked, and if that was what he meant.
I most certainly have all the respect in the world for guys like yourself, TOUGH and SiC who have created oh so many amazing render scenes and made them available for public download. Not to mention a whole slew of other guys such as Onion, Ssitruc, Zone-15, Jeff Strong, CBC-Tech, DERacing, Creative Energy, Jeff Yost, APD-Mike, Brian Simpson, Tucknut which is just a short list of a very long list of great people that have helped in one way or another on so many different scenes. :notworthy:
If you look at all my historical render posts on here, you'll see that I always give render scene credits when I post the renders. I have never meant to give the impression that these are my scenes. I am slowly trying to learn 3D Max and hopefully some day get to a point of making one from scratch but it's a slow process when its just a small hobby. I just recently started adding some new backgrounds to render scenes (which is a good way to learn some very basic things) and moving things around to make it look right and think I am finally getting decent at that, which is still a long way away from developing scenes like you guys do so well.

One last clarification... in saying "I put together", I meant taking a scene I downloaded and adding a background I found on google then repositioned, resized...etc to make the car look right and blend into the background as best I could for another cool or interesting render scene. I posted the original render scene credits on my original post (as I always do here) and I included my name as well for the small input I had in it. I was not trying to take credit for the whole thing, I would never do that.
Not sure what the more proper words should have been... perhaps... I "altered" a scene or "modified" a scene perhaps? But I didn't say or mean to say i "created" or "made" the scene.
Darren asked if that was the track scene he worked on with the spun wheels and I thought he meant he made a scene with tha same (or very similar)background and posted it for download somewhere and was asking if that was the one I was using.

I will clarify this once only:
I have a track scene from Om3ga that I added the ss.net cot to and put it up for download at RPD. I have full permission from Smoke-OR and SiC to use the track scene and ss.net cot models and release for download.
Smoke is a close friend and I credit him and SiC in the scene credits. If I can get permission from Smoke-OR to use the nnc07 models i may re-release it.
I am not going to say anymore on this subject.
