No idea who came up with the scheme for Gibbs, but I'm sure of two things:

1. They wanted the car to look amazing.
2. They didn't want anyone else to be able to replicate their work.

I think you proved them right on #1 and wrong on #2. Awesome job.

I mean... creating something SIMILAR is pretty easy - there are tons of tutorials around on how to make that "starburst" effect in PS. But to replicate that mess on the 11 car? Eesh! Far too tedious for me. :blink:

Amazing! I have been trying to paint a version of this car for some time and mine is no where near that detailed. I was wondering if you could send me the layered base scheme? I understand if you dont't, I can only imagine the time and effort that has been put into those cars.

Guys, I'll post the base probably this weekend...It will be layered so you can go in and change the "middle" color layer to whatever color you want and that way I will not have to upload 4 different versions of it

That's good news Jason. I couldn't be damned at this time to try it with my inexperience in PS even I feel like I do well with mine.
