I saw this video over a year ago. The video I saw was longer. Don't blame the rain for that. Blame the safety workers for their negligence. The guy actually sued them (the track or whoever) and won.

That wreck happened because the pace car speed was too high during the parade laps. Two times over the recommended speed. I think racing in the rain is fine.

NO. They both lived but one was not fine. If you consider 3rd degree burns all over you fine....

I don't know about 3rd degree, but I know it messed him up good and I don't think he was able to race ever again.
