I don't have any complaints with the sharkfin. To be honest, it just gives one more aspect for the team to paint seeing as how there are no more endplates with the wings gone. That way companies that run a store number still have a spot to put it.

And if it keeps the cars on the ground I'm all for it. Cars are supposed to race on the track, not give flying lessons.

The spoiler looks to me like the old Pontiac spoiler up to 2002, since they used a slightly different design to fit the contours of the Grand Prix's decklid. I like this design better than the big flat rectangular spoiler. It seems to have a bit more character and design flair to it rather than being a hastily lashed-up piece of sheet metal pop riveted into place like the original concept of the COT spoiler looked like to me.

The sharkfin isn't that bad at all. Its a little strip of metal... I can't even tell a difference... What's the point of complaining about it when you can hardly tell its even on the car when they're on the track?

I read that they're going to run a 4 1/2 inch spoiler, instead of having the extensions like the nns mod.

Why not have different spoilers for each manufacturer?

And now they need to get rid of the cow catcher/tire cutter.

Agreed. The splitter design is the thing that really makes the COT so ugly. The way Nascar has it designed on the trucks and the new Nationwide COT looks much better and allows the manufacturers a little brand identity besides decals and the nameplate on the engine.
