I'm not trying to soften the hate of Kyle. An error in action caused by poor reasoning doesn't sound like softening to me.

Maybe instead of mistake I should just say a major flaw in judgement?

Alright, it's just the reason i say it is because, most people (or at least me) differentiate mistakes, and something you do wrong.So at least in my mind, it's much better to make a bistake than to do something brainless and idiotic.
