2011 CUP-LMPV2 Car Set ***SET RELEASED***

This is a car set based on the Late Model Project V2. It features 2011 Cup Series drivers. I'm almost done with the painting, yet I have to do the ratings for it. The paint schemes are plain, but some of them really look better than the actual schemes they are based on.


I'll probably finish this one on Saturday night. The compressed file will bring a readme with all the credits.

I like them, but they would be better with the actual paint schemes on them.

A hell of work!!! Don't worry at all for the paint schemes, it would be a pain of the neck to make every single paint scheme for every car.

Also i think the basic paints give it more of the simplistic late model feel. Great Work!

Looks great! And I'd have to agree with PhantomGuy. The simplicity of the schemes looks 100% what a Late Model should look like.

I like them, but they would be better with the actual paint schemes on them.

^^^^I'd have to agree with this. Not trying to be overly critical or anything, but just about anyone can slap a number and hood logo onto a template and call it a day. To me, it just kinda seems like taking the easy way out as far as putting a carset together.

I'll also just say that there are plenty of late models at every local short track that have more complex paint schemes than alot of NASCAR teams, so I'm not really buying into the idea of "they look more like late models because of the lack of a paint scheme" idea.

I dont mean for that to sound harsh if it comes across that way. This is just my own personal opinion. As the saying goes "To each their own".

Well, I'm not that good of a painter and I use GIMP, so it will be tough for me to paint one of these bases. And yes, I chose the late model mod because plain schemes look good on these cars. Thanks for the feedback.

By the way, I had power issues all day due to storms and had little time to get the ratings done. So it'll be ready tomorrow. Still need some help with the "Thank a teacher today" logo and the correct #37 number decal.

I could not find any pics of the car, therefore, he's not in the set, yet. Maybe if I post an update with some new rides by halfway this season, it will be included.
