2011 NW cars dont show up

first off, the new nw mod is faaaaricken tough man. (y) my problem is that when i download a car it doesnt appear. i read in a thread that there is a v2 of the mod and wondered if that was the prob. if so i cant find the v2. thnx in advance for any help

Let's back up a bit and have you tell us what you did, exactly, with the car you downloaded.

Which/what 'car' did you download? (a link would be helpful)
If it was a .zip/.rar/.7zip file did you unzip/uncompress it?
Was the uncompressed file a .car file?
Did you place the .car file in the appropriate mod's 'cars' folder (in this instance...C:\Papyrus\ Nascar Racing 2003 Season\series\nws11\cars)?
Do you have 'Display Active Drivers Only' selected in the 'Opponent Manager'?
If 'Yes' to the above, unselect it and scroll to the bottom of the Roster (this is where all new drivers/car which haven't been added to the Roster end up ~ just like any real-life list...new things get added to the bottom).

I realize that things can get frustrating at times, but the more info you supply us with (what you did and the order you did it in) the more someone here will be able to help you.

And the v2 version only cleared up some coding issues which were causing some high FPS rates. I don't think it had any effect on cars showing up in the Roster or not.

Well I know the cars from this site come in folders, and you choose if you what high res or low so are you not taking them out of the folders because I did that once.

This is probably your problem. Each carfile we now upload will have a Low Res file in one folder (1024) and a High Res file in the other (2048) You have to extract which ever one you want, otherwise you'll have folders in the the car folder. It's a little more work, but we know some computers can't handle the resolution of the High res cars, so we gave you a choice.
