Moment of the Year (Board): End of the YRT era. *Love it or hate it, it was probably the most significant happening. *

SRD Painting Awards:

Best Non-Crew Painter of the Year: Clutch. *Ibanez. *No further explanation is required.

Best Crew Painter of the Year: JasonRSC. *Not only the paints, but the work on the NWS11 templates.

Painter to Watch out for in 2012: Redbullman4. *He's back, and I expect big things moving forward.

Most Improved Painter from 2011: *Phantomguy24. *From unknown to start the year to crew painter to end it.

SRD NR2003 Community Awards:

Most Helpful NR2003 User: Sage. *While I've never had to ask for a logo from him, he seems to always be on the job when someone needs one.

Best NR2003 Release of the Year: SRD NWS11 mod. *Seriously? *What else could be voteworthy? *That one guy that downloaded the Dirt55 mod?

Best Video Maker: N/A

Rendering Awards:

Best Scene: James Hodge's lookout scene. *It makes me want to go to the bay area. *Seriously.

Best Renderer: TBay Slider

Most Helpful Renderer: Rogue

Auto Racing Awards:

Moment of the Year (NASCAR): Tony Stewart's otherworldly Chase performance.

Moment of the Year (Other auto racing) Audi drivers uninjured after spectacular crashes in Le Mans.

Best Paint Scheme of the Year (NASCAR): Regan Smith Furniture Row main scheme. I'm a sucker for flat black.

Best Paint Scheme of the Year (Other auto racing): Lotus Renault black & gold

Driver to Look Out for (NASCAR): Kyle Busch. *Look out, he's going psychotic for no logical reason on a veteran lower series driver again,

Driver to Look out for (Other auto racing): EJ Viso. *He actually finished a few races last year. *Could he be figuring things out under Tony Kanaan's tutelage?

Thanks for the nomination from you Mike. It really means a lot to me. As well as a big thanks to everyone else who has nominated me. It's been a pleasure really getting to know you all this year and how much we've all become friends.

Shame I haven't been able to be as active anymore seeing as though I'm in so many extra-curricular activities nowadays and the only way to keep my grades up is to stay away from the computer.

SRD Member of the Year: Mike24-He's done a great job of moderating while not overmoderating, and he's an all-around great guy who knows what he's talking about, plus he runs a kick-ass offline league.

Most Improved Member From 2011: Tim2488-He's really come out of nowhere to become a very regular member and contribute a lot to the community.

Breakout User of the Year: Phantomguy24-Came out of absolutely nowhere to become a regular member, plus an amazing painter and he got on the crew at the end of this year to boot.

Craziest Member of the Year: Anthony Dinozzo-This just goes without saying.

Member To Watch Out For In 2012: The one that hasn't signed up yet-Much like Phantomguy24 this year, somebody will come out of the blue and be a huge contributor to the boards.

Moron Member of the Year: Brandon Howe-For death threats in YRT II(?). Not cool broski.

Newbie User Who's Made An Impact:Phantomguy24-Pretty much the same reason as breakout user of the year.

Moment of the Year (Board): Closing of YRT II-Longest standing thread that was used non-stop, and it's closing brought in a whole new attitude of maturity here at SRD.

SRD Painting Awards:

Best Non-Crew Painter of the Year: Jonathan Patten-I have tremendous respect for his talent as a painter and I think he will continue to serve as a painter in the very top echelon of the community.

Best Crew Painter of the Year: Jason Roush-In my opinion, one of the classiest, greatest painters in NR2003 history. Always a class act, and he never brags about his extraordinary talent.

Painter to Watch out for in 2012: Phantomguy24-3rd nomination of him by me, and I think he could really explode in 2012.

Most Improved Painter from 2011: burtonbraves-Always had talent for painting, but he has really improved and he's now a crew member.

SRD NR2003 Community Awards:

Most Helpful NR2003 User: Sage-It would take years to count how many times he's helped someone out with a font ID, a logo ID, or supplying a logo.

Best NR2003 Release of the Year: NWS2011 Mod-Absolutely amazing mod. I love it. Thanks to everyone who put in time and worked their tails off to get this thing released.

Best Video Maker: JRRacing64-Every so often he puts out a video, and every time he does it, it's epic. Great video-making talent, and I love watching what he can do with Camera Control Master.

Rendering Awards: Ten0r-Without his website, where would everybody get their renders from? His website is a gem of the community, and it's been incredibly useful to me as well as many other people.

Best Renderer: HoosierDaddy-Always has, and always will be one of the best in the business. He has absolutely stunning renders, and he is a great part of the NR2003 community.

Most Helpful Renderer: Ten0r-Without his website, where would everybody get their renders from? His website is a gem of the community, and it's been incredibly useful to me as well as many other people.

Auto Racing Awards:

Moment of the Year (NASCAR): Trevor Bayne's Daytona 500 Victory-Who would've predicted that this 20-year old kid in his 2nd career start would stun the racing world and win the biggest race in NASCAR? Not too many people.

Moment of the Year (Other auto racing): Dan Wheldon's Indy 500 Victory and Death-To have such an amazing and remarkable win, and then to have such a fatal and tragic accident...unbelievable and deeply saddening. RIP Dan Wheldon.

Best Paint Scheme of the Year (NASCAR): Clint Bowyer's 100 Years of Chevy-Sick scheme, done well, clean, crisp...and it made it to Victory Lane as well.

Best Paint Scheme of the Year (Other auto racing): JR Hildebrand's Indy Car scheme-Don't really watch anything else outside of NASCAR, but I'll always remember the sight of this slick scheme pounding the turn 4 wall while leading on the last lap of the Indy 500.

Driver to Look Out for (NASCAR): Kasey Kahne-Ended the year on a very, very strong note and he's going to have a drastic increase in quality of equipment next year. Look out folks.

Driver to Look out for (Other auto racing): Kimi Raikkonen-Felt like I couldn't leave the last nomination empty. We'll see how he handles his return to F1.

Since it would be in poor taste to nominate myself and it was hard to pick between the two of us I will nominate Henderson.

Most Helpful NR2003 User: Henderson - It seems to me like he is always very quick to give a helping hand whenever anyone has a question or needs some help, with posts and PM's!

Its funny because I have only been playing NR2003 for about a year. It just shows how simple some of these games are to figure out if you play around with them.
