Those new noses just don't sit well with me, across the board...

McLaren got it right, imo. Everyone else followed each other's idea and now F1 is a field of derpmobiles.

First half is about F1, mainly the nose, suspension & exhaust... Oh and what Kimi thinks of DRS haha. Second half is various other racing related things including the German Government taking back control of the Ring.

HRT to me is beyond help right now. I can't see them lasting the season at this rate, especially with no real sponsors.

Ferrari failed their Crash Test this year too their first time threw. It's actually a rather common thing in F1.

Except HRT is failing their crash testing right in the middle of the proper test sessions. Ferrari planned their time so that if their car failed, they had a chance to fix it before Jerez. Clearly HRT isn't taking notes.

The chassis itself passed and is legal, the only things that failed were the Nosecone & the Roll-hoop. Whereas when Ferrari Failed it was the Chassis itself that failed.

Remember it was only back in 2008 that the RedBull car did not pass it's final Crash Test (same frontal test as HRT failed) until a few hours before FP1 of the Australian GP.

Under normal circumstances, I would agree. But HRT is not only having management trouble, but they are also having financial trouble and have already announced that they will be "taking a step back from 2011 in 2012".

I'm sorry, but these guys either need to sort out their issues or hand their grid spot over to people who are actually going to make an effort.

Color me surprised if HRT finishes this season. With everything Clutch pointed out, along with the general lack of disorganization, I'm surprised they're even as far along as they are now.

They've changed ownership multiple times and are now looking for Carlos Slim to buy them out.

Colin Kolles has taken almost all their employees back with him to Germany after he left HRT.

They currently have 2 average at best drivers.

They have no big time sponsors, except for MAYBE Tata which isn't providing a huge amount from what I can tell.

They're still using Cosworth engines.

-----------------------

See where this is going? I honestly don't want them to fail, I don't want any F1 team to fail. But they have to sort themselves out and sort themselves out fast.

Wasn't it HRT that showed up to Australia with a car not even completed last year? Any way once the races start i wont notice the noses. I really don't care any way. As long as racing is good I will watch. I just hope it is not the Vettel show this year again.

I'm not sure, but I do recall Virgin arriving in their debut season with a fuel tank that couldn't make the distance.

I only really take Caterham seriously out of the 3 backmarkers.

Yeah, this season will not be easy to watch. Not with all these platypuses on the grid. At least now Ferrari has company in the "Even for a stepped nose, that's just wrong" category.

I really hope McLaren...Button specifically...wipe the floor with the rest of the field this season. Those new noses are just not pleasant to look at.

It's quite funny.

IndyCar gets rid of the stepped nose, now F1 wants to try it.

I hate to say it, but last-gen Dallara>most of the current F1 grid
