Needs more holes in the rim. The 3D model appears to have 6- the real ones have 8.

Correct, that was the one thing I made not match what is commonly used today. I have seen the wheels that have less holes, but it was more common years ago: http://images32.fotki.com/v1046/photos/1/1011428/4509356/yAllison22MillerMonteCarlo1985-vi.jpg I remember at one time years ago, it was talked about on a TV broadcast, some teams like the bigger holes so they could more easily grab the wheel during the tire change.

update

When I saw the side shot of the car on the track (which is bad ass btw!), I was able to figure out what didn't look right about the other wheel. It looks like a 17in. rim. I used the image of the support our troops tire to match it up the side render of the Stanly car. At first I thought it was a perspective issue, but if that was the case the tire part should match better. A question could be, can you shrink the rim down and widen the rubber to match on the in-game version.

BTW, I do have a bit of news to share. I post models on turbo squid and I have been at odds with them for a while. For well over a year now T.S. has been taking 60% of my sales! And earlier this week they really pushed me. So to counter, I decided to post most of my nascar based models free or at an extreme discount. Rouge, if you have any questions please email me, but I wanted to make sure you heard it from me first why a large chunk of my models dropped in price. I come from a modding background, so I hope this becomes a positive thing in the long run. As far as I'm concerned this is something between me and T.S.

Thankyou Sir for clarifying the situation. I was curious as to why the price dropped. The wheel in the render is a custom made at teamom3ga, not intended to be acurate in size I think. Jack (Smoke-OR) can best explain it, they are his wheels I used. The car models are top class, and a pleasure to work with. Thankyou for the kind words regarding the render scene.

Yeah, this is one of them cross fire situations, but for the most part the people who walk into the cross fire are getting free stuff :). In short, I hope I don't upset anyone. This is something between me and TS.

You won't upset anyone at teamom3ga for a start. We understand the situation. Any more work you want done, just let us know. I still have to register with TS so i can get the camaro model. My original registration seems to have vanished lol. PLEASE continue the great work you have been doing, and by all means drop by teamom3ga whenever you like. Pleasure to have you around.
