Mark Martin on pole for Sunday....

First time I have picked the pole correctly, lol.

But seriously, I don't like what he did at Road America (whether he meant to do it or not), but I hope she doesn't try to retaliate on him at the track named after his father. That would look REALLY bad on her. Just saying.

I think it would be fair justice. He ruined her best run of the season, so in return, she ruins his run at the track that bears his name. At least the retaliation is justified. The original incident wasnt in any way. Besides, theres nothing wrong with putting your foot down and showing you arent going to be pushed around. If you dont do it, people are just going to keep walking all over you because they know they can get away with it.

Personally, I dont think anything is going to happen though. She's got bigger fish to fry.

You race the guy how he races you regardless of the tracks heritage. Hes ruffled a lot more feathers than just Danica's, so I dont see anyone giving him much respect on the track. And I dont think anyone will look "REALLY bad" for it.

Just because you're racing at a track named after a family member doesn't mean you get to be excluded from the racing that takes place at said track.

I honestly hope she does go for some retaliation maybe that'll show that she isn't a pushover.

Wow Landon qualified 9th. Awesome! Hopefully that's just a preview of a good finish this weekend.

Also Mark Martin earned his 55th career pole in the 55 car. Kinda cool if you ask me!

Nobody did.....I am just joking. A little sad Carl didn't grab it but I would not want to lose to anyone but Mark. He killed that qualifying lap and I am glad to see him take the pole. Great to see him still putting down the law, I hope he will run the 55 full time next year and get his well deserved championship.

Villeneuve about Danica Friday via jayski--"the sport's golden girl gets favorable treatment because she's a woman. " Villeneuve said he was lambasted by other drivers, including Patrick, after bumping her out at Elkhart Lake in Wisconsin.

WTF? I usually wish no bad luck on any racer but I hope somebody puts the 22's axle deep in the gravel today. I dont see him having a sponsor or a even remotely competitive ride if any next season. He has raced unrespectfully enough in the Nationwide series the last few years for him to not have a future in the series. I hate to see anyone fall from grace but he took the express elevator down as far as I am concerned. I feel you can have an attitude if you got something to back it up other than ignorance. He doesn't have a reason to be such a hot head on track with this series.
