Well I'll give him half and half credit because it was a plate race with the tandems (I guess those were a total crapshoot, luck of the draw/lottery race)* and 2008 he didn't make a chase appearance but finished as high as he possibly could have outside of the chase (which was 13th) But still after those given stats the #6 hasn't done anything. Aside from the 2011 Coke Zero 400 you'd have to go back to 2005 when Mark Martin won at Kansas.

Kasey Kahne (2nd) is the fastest HMS driver so far in practice and he won at Phoenix last fall with RBR.
