2013 Carset?

Anyone know where is the 2013 NSCS carset is for any mod? Besides the testing carset, if it came out yet.

I see nothing wrong with it, it was done with 2011 on a 2010 mod and more. Jeeze no need to rip the guy.

Some people like to play with updated paint schemes in anticipation for the year to come! Even if they are not perfect, its something to hold us over until there are accurate schemes. How about some common courtesy, and keep your rude comments to yourself. You wouldn't want people ripping into you over a simple question like that...

Outlawgamerz has the br12 2013 carset with chevy ss, toyota camry (blech) and the ford fusion all with 2013 paint schemes
(and some with multiple paint schemes for special races)

It seems that we've gotten to the point that mod and carset makers' frustration with people asking for release dates (a perfectly valid frustration) makes some users think that it's bad manners to ask if anything has been released, ever.

asking for something like what andyive was asking for is perfectly fine. However, sometimes doing a quick search can find the answer that many new members have. I think most of us who have been here for a long time (and released content ourselves for the community) have quite frankly had enough of the laziness some new members have.

Matt O' Reilly and the rest of the SRD crew has been doing a good job to try and guide the new members to common questions or ways to find and answers they seek easier ... but somehow through all of that we still get posts made in the wrong section and impatience that is just plain rude.

And here was I thinking this was a friendly site where the established members were only too happy to assist newcomers as opposed to ripping them and accusing them of being lazy simply because they seek the help of people who have the information but seem to too weary from previous inquiries to reply with courtesy.
I myself had a query regarding the appropriateness of a particular post , so I sought the advice of a moderator , and do you know what the reply was ? absolute silence , so I am not really surprised by some of the responses here .

My cup edition truck set will be available next week I have 4 trucks I want to finish up. I have been on a little break to recharge so I have been doing other things while we wait to see what drops during the media buildup to this week.

Anticipated release of my truck set is Friday the 22nd.

As for a 2013 carset for other mods, well RFACTOR 2013 mod came with one I believe, havent run it yet, but it looked like it did. Any other sets out there will be made as mods become available and sites finalize there plans for the year. New mods and new bodies mean delayed releases and late starts. So just be patient, until then there will be various car sets available for various mods of your choosing. Its a long year and while I too want things now, that's just not reality.

DMR is releasing a 2013 NNS mod, we just patched up ours with the Camaro, and no one knows for sure what BR is planning for 2013 at this time. We can all hope but until it becomes official dont expect anything.

Note that the rFactor mod is mainly for their online leagues. The offline AI is not good, and, in fact, some tracks like Phoenix are not playable offline.

this is an extremely friendly site. However seeing post that can be easily resolved with a quick search of the forum or Google, gets old and is a waste of board space. Use the search function before relying on others and everyone wins.

I totally agree with you in this regard, but that does not excuse some of the rude comments to people seeking help, I would implore those members who are short on courtesy to remember that you were once a "new member" to this site and also to recall that it is a bit of a learning curve and not all of us have the same computer skills as those who have "been here for a long time (and released content ourselves for the community)" -
the rest of that particular post I consider extremely offensive and I am at a loss to understand such vitriol contained within it or is that accepted when you have "been here for a long time" . remember all the guy did was ask if anyone had a 2013 carset.
as a whole I do think this is a friendly and very helpful site but that is not the way to garner new members or to instill a mood of friendliness .

Not sure why you would be offended by my post. I didn't even mention the OP in a bad way at all. Sure we were all a new members here once but we did this thing call read the rules, use the search function, and knew what respect and patience was.

In the end though Matt O' Reilly is the boss and those are his rules. He does not have a problem banning those new members who disregard following the pinned RED topics in the forums if they continue to not listen. If they can't follow that simple stuff 'lack of computer skills' as you put it won't save them plain and simple.
