John Wes Townley 3rd fastest in final practice. I dont care for the dude or his daddys chicken, but pretty cool he picked his times up.

I know the top 20 in owners points are locked into this, but the #81 and #5 are tied for 20th, so what happens there?

And Kenny Schrader stomped all over the rest of the field in preliminary qualifying. He's got the pole for the first heat race.

anybody know the format that's gonna be used for these heat races?

It should be the typical format used at most dirt tracks. The difference is the way the trucks make the feature because of the points in NASCAR. Five 8 lap heats with 5 trucks locking in from each one. Should be 4 trucks from the top 20 in points and the highest finishing truck not locked in. The rest of the trucks go to the B-Main and they take the top 4 and the highest finishing past champion. If there isn't one it's the 5th place truck that makes it and that sets the 30 truck field.

Oh and also just like any dirt track only green flag laps count.

It goes to the 81 because they have the higher best finish so far this season than the 5.

Ken Schrader (58) is now the oldest pole winner in any NASCAR series beating Dick Trickle (57).

Well if theres any solace for me in this whole deal, its that Kenny Schrader looks like he's got a good hot rod.

So, does the racing in general start at 9:30, or does it start at 7:00, and the A-Main start at 9:30? Lol, I'm confused with my tv guide....

Is there an official link somewhere that has the lineup?

Thanks

So one truck eliminated each race?
Does that mean that the 07, 57, 30, 10, and 99 are on the bubble?

2 are eliminated from each race. Only the 4 locked in trucks and the highest finishing not locked in truck move to the main event. The rest move to the LCQ.

EDIT: so really no one is actually eliminated until the LCQ but only 4 locked in +1 move directly to the main event.
