No, no, we're not doing another one of these catch all threads.

I understand the ego trip that is making a single thread to rule them all, but if that made any sense at all to do, we would have made a "Nascar Discussion Thread" years ago instead of having this forum.

This forum exists so many topics can be found, read, and discussed with relative ease. If you make a general thread like "off-season" or "silly season" or "Paint schemes" then nobody can find anything because it's buried in the way-too-general mammoth thread. It doesn't work. It's certainly not conducive to the kind of forum activity we want to see here.

If you want to discuss a particular topic, make a thread for it. Want to talk about Charlotte testing? Make a thread for it. Want to talk about Sprint Unlimited? Make a thread for it. Any individual topic can have its own thread as long as there isn't one that already exists. That way other people can find the topic.

Please do not make general threads simply for the purpose of forcing everyone to go to your thread all the time for everything. Thanks for your understanding.
