Kicker is, ratings are still down.... so even despite their 'efforts' in what many call officiating manipulation, numbers are STILL dropping.
Ratings don't mean jack. Between onlnve live streaming (legal and illegal) and apps that allow people to follow races, you can't expect to have the same number of people sitting down watching it conventionally on the TV. Plus, the system has an inherent flaw in that it only tracks a small sample size then estimates the full ratings based on that small sample. As for the fines, I expected it to be Keselowski and Hamlin, not Keselowski and Stewart.
