Yuck, no thank you. I'll stick with the older model. I'm getting a little tired of the Camaro look alikes to be honest.

I'm not sure what I think of the rear, and this new direction Chevy is going with front ends seen on the Traverse and now the Impala is screaming "Korean" to me somehow...it all look very Kia-esque. The interior looks great, although the steering wheel leaves a bit to be desired. All in all, it will do better than the outgoing model which was a bit of an embarrassment, especially how they were shoehorning it into NASCAR. I'm also glad they won't be using this car for NASCAR going forward.

Is the Impala being renamed the Camaro or that they just want different names with the same style of car?

People around the web keep saying this car looks like a Camaro but I don't see it at all. The rear looks absolutely nothing like a Camaro, the side profile is that of a Audi/Honda/Hyundai/Mercedes E-Class, and the front looks more like the current Ford Fusion or a Kia then it does a Camaro.

Car Model Years (atleast here in the USA) have for the most part always been 1 year ahead meaning that the 2013 Model Year cars come out around May 2012 (if not earlier), 2014MY cars come out in 2013, etc. Kind of like how some Sports Video-Games work l0l

Trends. It's no different than when every logo had swooshes in them in the early 2000's, or when every website had to have glossy buttons and interfaces.

Looks like a Honda Accord to me, with stolen Mercedes E-Class fog lamp LED configuration. UGLY.

The box hood that is just flat over from wheel well to wheel well looks dumb. Kind of like they designed it with legos.

I don't think it a trend. Its because by like 2014 or 15 the EPA is mandating a huge mpg jump. Its not a few miles. Its some thing like 5 plus. So the car company's are trying to make there cars more stream line.
