2014 Cup Schedule out

Texas/Charlottle/Atlanta are not identical clones. Vegas is certainly not a clone of those three. Kansas is not a clone of any of those four.

I really wish people would stop being lazy and broad-brushing tracks as identical or "cookie-cutters" when they are not. Let's keep the intelligence level in here slightly higher than it is outside of here.

Maybe clone wasn't the best word choice. And while I acknowledge identical lengths do not make the tracks identical, they are very similar considering all 5 tracks combine for a 6 degree variance in banking, a number while drops to 4 degrees in variance in the high grooves of the 5.

Also, I don't think by any means any of the tracks are bad or unentertainging, but Kansas was a much more unique track before the reconfigurtion. That's why I'm disappointed in it.

I woukd quite like that. It would be a complete wild card track have the potential to shake up the standings top to bottom every year. Also, with all the beating and banging that close to the end of the year, the drama would be off the charts.

Anybody else catch the recommendation Bob Pockress made for 2015? A double header on labor day? Richmond to end it Saturday night, Darlington to start the Chase Monday night? Interesting to say the least, but it'll never happen. I'd love to see a week night race. And he said to add the circuit of the Americas to the Chase. Interesting read.

It's so sad see that historic tracks doesn't exist anymore, even on Brazil this happened ( Jacarepaguá, the only oval that Brazil had now it's a parking lot)

With all these tracks the NASCAR calendar would be so awesome.

There's a WalMart and a Lowe's on what was once Flemington Speedway as well.
