We'll see. It'll be a big change for Penske having four cars in the field. Team dynamics will be different, etc. But if any team is equipped to handle it, Penske is.

#4 is still taken by Panther Racing AFAIK, and Penske is partial to the #2 in whatever way he can run it.

#1 is a champion's designation in IndyCar. Expect Power to revert to #12 in 2016 if he does not successfully defend his championship. Then Penske would run #2, #3, #12, #22.

And a move that had been talked about for a while, James Hinchcliffe moves to Schmidt Peterson Motorsports to replace Simon Pagenaud in the #77. As a huge Hinch fan I'm skeptical, but I hope it works out for the best for all involved.

He has connections with DHL, so expect him to suck.

Yeah, Panther shut down after the Guard left them. So the #4 was available.

Indycar is tossing the idea of a All Star or "Big Money" type of race to take place in the off season next year. I personally like the idea I do think it should be a big money race with all teams competing rather than an All Star race with only the winners. I like the idea though could be really fun.
