2015 Toyota Camry

There's been a snippet I have seen lurking of Clint Bowyer's scheme imposed on the 2015 Camry chassis. Don't know if that was real or not, but it made me want to try something.

My first effort at taking components from photo's and trying to make them look at least halfway decent. NOT an easy task, so if nothing else I have gained more respect for the template makers out there who do this from scratch.

Anyway, I compiled my results into a .psd file (I can do PDN as well if someone want's it, PM me, gotta show love to both equally!) in the event someone more talented than I wants to use them, or maybe someone want's to try their hand at a template. Me, I'll be putting this together first on the SRUSA NwS mod, as I'm not entirely sure the Gen6 mold will work with the new lights, etc.

Comments/critiques as always are welcome and even encouraged, and should anyone actually use them, please give credit.

I don't forsee this being a problem for anybody. Most all of the lights and grills you see on templates are cut from photos of actual cars.

Good to know, sets my mind at ease. 35 people so far have at least looked at the .psd, wondering if any of them have any feedback... even if it's just to say, hey dude, this sucks, go back to crayons.

Thanks for trying it out. I think with some tweaking (and some shading) they would actually be worth using. Unfortunately, shading is an area I know NOTHING about, and all my attempts have been, at best, laughable.

Either way, I went ahead and did up the parts for the 2015 Mustang as well. These parts are of a lot higher quality, and I think they came out a little bit better than the Toyota did.

So I wanted to test out what some good shading would add to the Mustang... I modified BER's Fusion shading (hence while I will not release it wholesale, as I do not have permission to do so) to conform to a Mustang that was actually on a NwS Mustang body (something about putting Ford on another template irks me).

Below is the result. Shows that if I can learn to shade (or someone takes it upon themselves to do so) this might actually look pretty good I think for a first go 'round. Again, I used BER's shading, so don't expect a release of what you see here.
