Trucks with all on-track activity packed into one day. Interesting. Wonder if this might be a test for the higher series' in the future. Kinda similar to how local short tracks run their race days.

Yes, and it was arguably the best truck race this year!

I've just read that this is the first time in Truck Series history the #45 has won a race, also the first time the number has won in the top 3 series since May 1964 when LeeRoy Yarborough won in it at Greenville-Pickens.

Brad Keselowski has now tied Kurt Busch in career wins, with 30. Keselowski replaced Busch in the #2 in 2011, and since then, Kurt Busch has 8 wins. Keselowski has also passed Jeff Gordon for playoff-era wins - Gordon ran 12 full-time years with some kind of playoff system, Keselowski is in his tenth full year. It's worth nothing that one of Keselowski's victories came when he wasn't running full-time yet.

Brad Keselowski hasn't won in his white Miller Lite scheme since the 2017 fall Talladega race, and he hasn't won at Kansas since his second career win, on fuel, over a dominant car from Kurt Busch. That was an upset at the time.

Alex Bowman has doubled his career top-five total in the last three weeks. He recorded a 3rd, 4th, and 5th last year. He also exceeded his laps led from last year, and this is the most he's led in a full season to date (Bowman led 200 laps in 10 races in 2016, 194 of which were at Phoenix)

There have now been at least three Chevrolet drivers in the top five in three straight races for the first time since the Bristol, Richmond and Talladega races in spring 2016. That means this is the first time this has happened with the Camaro, and the first time since SHR switched to Ford. That was actually a five race streak of 3 Chevrolets in the top five, including Texas and Martinsville before it. Chevrolet didn't win any of those races.

Two Hendrick cars led at least 40 laps in a race for the first time since the 2016 Chicagoland race - Jimmie Johnson led the most laps with 118, and Chase Elliott led for 75.

It's not just that Chevrolet hasn't been very good since they introduced the Camaro - 2017 was mostly a wash for Chevrolet as well. So, since stages.

I can add one more: CHris Buescher received more stage points on Saturday than the hole 2017 and 2018 season together.
