This is why NASCAR took Friesens primary truck. Was apparently a safety issue and they were not pleased about it not sure why it doesn't look like it would've been any kind of performance gain. #NASCARLogic D_NkmEyWwAAklSV.jpg

That finish was out of control! I am not a fan of either one of those guys, but damn they are good at what they do.

In the best of the nine Kentucky Cup races, Kurt Busch led the same amount of laps tonight (41) as he did in the first race eight years ago. This is also the first time at Kentucky that nobody led at least 118 laps, and the first victory for Chevrolet.

Chevy has now won at every track on the circuit, joining the other two manufacturers. It has multiple wins at every other track - out of the three current manufacturers, all have multiple victories at every track except for Ford at Chicagoland and Chevy at Kentucky.

The Camaro has won three races in a row for the first time, the first time Chevy won three consecutive races since Jeff Gordon, Jimmie Johnson, and Dale Earnhardt Jr.'s wins at Martinsville, Texas, and Phoenix in 2015. These were Gordon and Earnhardt's final career wins.

Despite the slower cars this year, Daniel Suarez's pole lap was nearly half a second faster than Jimmie Johnson's 2012 pole lap, and about two tenths faster than Dale Earnhardt Jr.'s 2013 pole lap.
