A good car set idea?

I'll get the #17 first. I'll post a show room thread once the first car is done.

Lets have fun with this, and DPalack, I wish I had thought of that 2009 Alternate car set sooner, that's a great idea.

I just think it refeshing to see some originals versus trying to duplicate schemes. Requires a little more thought to come up with something instead of trying to copy some picture.

Love the alternates idea. Much better than trying to replicate real schemes. It allows some free reign and creativity to be added to the fray.

Why don't you kinda invert the last one, like a 1988 set for the COT. And I like Dave's idea too, I made a Fedex car for Newman, anyway...

Are you just going to do Cot versions of the cars that came with the game(with fics yes?/no?) or are you gonna do it like NNRacing.com | Your Auto Racing sim community did and do the main scheme for every car or what? I wouldn't mind seeing this at all.

Yeah, it's going to be 2003 cars on SS.NET COT mod bodies. I'll start the #17 tomorrow, I took a painting break today because I haven't enjoyed NR2003 much lately.

Adampiggsracing is making the #29, #30, and the #31 cars.

Of course, I'm making the #17 now.

Just finished up lining up my #!7 base, my gosh that was the best base I've made by far!

Now the easy part, adding the logos (already got the contigs on, thank god, lolz.) :twitcy:

AAAAHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!

Stupid Gimp, I was saving the 2003 #17 COT car and it was ALMOST FINISHED!!!!!!!!

It's shuts down, and now I try to open it, it now is a various look of colors!!!

All that hard work is GONE!!! I'm so mad right now, it's not even funny. :arghh::arghh::arghh:

I think this car set will take a hold for now, I need a painting break for a day or so because I've never worked so hard on a car, and Gimp screws me up, unbelievable........

I'll race for a day or so to cool myself off because man I was so close to finishing!
