A.I. Suddenly Slow

Hi, I started a race at Watkins Glen 2010 today and I noticed my A.I. was ridiculously easy to pass, anywhere on the track. I looked at the percentages to make sure they were on 95%, like normal. They were. Their laptimes were running around the 1:20 second range to 1:40 second range. I turned them to 110%, no change. It's almost like they're stuck at 70%. It was random, I'd never had it happen before, and it is very frustrating. Any help?

What are their ratings? If they are all 40-60 then they will be slow.

It might be how the track was made or it could be the AI ratings are not the same. What mod was it? Did you race at this track before? If you have was it with the same mod?

NWS11 mod, yes I've raced it a lot, yes with the same mod. I noticed like the above poster stated most ratings are less than 40-60, but I used NRatings recently. I had them on NRatings before, but I redid them automatically again, before this problem. The cars seem fine at ovals, laptimes are fast, too. Their ratings for ovals and superspeedways are zero. Could NRatings be malfunctioning?

I've used the ratings from every NWS race so far, and imported those ratings in NRatings. AI does great at WG10, it is strange that your cars are going slower.

It is strange. All of a sudden they just are. It also happens at Montreal, but at Texas, they're normal. I don't get it. Maybe I should re-download NRatings.

What races did you use for the Ratings in NRatings? If it didn't included road courses then they would be slow.

All of them, even the road courses. It worked before, just not now. I re-downloaded NRatings and tried again. No improvement.

Their ratings for ovals and superspeedways are zero. Could NRatings be malfunctioning?

If they're at 0, they will be abysmally slow. Try running the default carset that came with the game and see if they're still that non-competitive.

Faster, but still about 7 or 8 seconds too slow.

If I were you, I would raise the AI grip modifier.

How much should I change it to have them about 7 seconds faster?
