The Ford GT is back and looks like it's ready to race.....

Personally I really like the car and I understand using the EcoBoost 3.5L V6 over a V8. Not to mention the max size for a turbo engine in WEC is 4.0L. I'm pretty sure they are leaning towards racing in the Tudor GTLM class then racing in the 24 Hours of Le Mans next season.

IMO a really bad business decision by Ford. Very limited market for sales. The last time Ford tried to enter the prestige market is when they bought Jaguar and that purchase was a disaster and contributed to the company's dire financial problem. I would much rather that they put the money into an ST version of the Fusion

These new GTs will be on a limited production. They will be high end cars that will cost around 200K or more so they aren't expecting to sell a ton. (This is just a guess) Ford isn't near as wreckless of a company as they used to be so that's what I'm being optimistic about. The new GT will be at Le Mans for the 50th anniversary of Ford's overall win there in 1966 with the Gt 40. Which I think is going to be pretty awesome. I like the idea for a ST Fusion that would be an awesome car although I doubt we will see it due to the almost direct competitive with the Taurus SHO.
