I have a question, is there any way to screw around with the ai cars to make it easier for them to spin out. Because they always seem to save it when i tap them. I want it sooo when i just tap them they spin out. thanks

you can mess around with the track.ini file to make them to where they race with eachother more. and cause wrecks with eachother. but as far as i know, you cant make it where when you hit them they just spin out. unless you hit them hard enough. but modifying the ini takes time to understand the values.

look it up on google.

type something like NR2003 ini
or something like that.

It's sure as hell easier to spin the AI out in NR2003 than in ASR...I was playin it yesterday and it has the same damn "Nudge" ai...where you go to spin them out and it just nudges you up and they go faster :(

well, maybe that means your not supposed to spin the ai on purpose. ;) lol.
but yeah, i know what you mean. ASR has the same physics as NSR does. or some at least. in NSR the ai never wrecked.

Try lowering the ai_inverse_slipcurve.

You can also try lowering the track grip.Or lowering the
ai_grip_modifier.

Lowering track grip too far can cause the ai to lose control in the corners, causing many wrecks.Changes speeds too,of course

I usually keep the slipcurve in the 0.40-0.50 range.I've moved a few this way.lol
Try less than that and see what happens. Can always change it back.

yup. that works. also make a backup copy of the ini so that if you dont like the changes you still have the original ini.

I've found that lowering the ai_drafting_distance entry in the track.ini causes a lot of wrecks, especially at superspeedways. I changed mine to 0.9 and got a fairly realistic amount of wreckage.
