Looking at the practice chart right now...

No real surprises at the top, you knew the 33 and 39 were going to go all out for this one.

99 and the 9 look like they have the best average speeds over the course of all of their laps...neither is really a shock. Two teams with nothing to lose...albeit, the way this race is going to shape up, no one has anything to lose.


Gordon mediocre so far in 20th, shocked kind of...the chassis they are bringing hasn't run outside of the top 10 this year, and led all those laps at M'Ville in the spring.



Ekstrom is stuggling...and Jr. can't seem to remember how to drive. 39th quick out of 47. By far the slowest of the top 35 teams (other than the 83 with Ekstrom).

Gordon got to 19th.





Practice #2 just started. Edwards, Montoya, Speed, Burton, Biffle lead the time sheet early.

Bobby quicker than Terry by a fair bit this time. Methinks Bobby was doing race setup practice 1, while Terry was doing Q. This practice, they are both likely doing Q.

Yeah, it sucks when Terry Labonte got bumped by a team that won't even complete 25% of the laps. At least Terry would have raced the whole race. PRISM Motorsports should be banned from NASCAR because they have only finished MINIMAL amounts of races....usually when someone else is using their cars....i.e. MWR with Michael Waltrip.

i think he might be able to win one of these soon if he keeps it together like he has been. he's done really good in the NW COT races, 3rd at Daytona, 13th at Michigan, and now 4th at Richmond. he's definitely impressing me...
