Swan has much better equipment than BK. Swan actually showed speed at times, while BK was abysmal. Travis Kvapil had nine engine failures last year, that is unbelievably bad.

Wrong type of consistency people are looking for.

You can argue if they're ready or not, but at this point of time I think we should be thankful there's teams giving young drivers a chance.

For the first time in years we have a bunch of new drivers to watch. We had Danica and Stenhouse last year full time. Now we have Annett, Allgaier, Dillon, and the young pairings at BK and Swan. All of which I think are capable drivers.

I can appreciate what Childress and Roush did with their Nationwide programs for Dillon and Stenhouse but Jimmie Johnson has shown you don't have to dominate a lower series to be a great driver in the Cup series.

Im happy for them. BK isnt as bad as some of the teams out there, so maybe both will grow. My question is, Whens the last time we had this many legit rookies? Holy Crap!

I think Danica & Stenhouse really should have waited another year to make the move up to Sprint Cup, it feels like they were both rushed. I get the same feeling with some of these rookies too, maybe another year to develop a little more would go a long way towards their long-term career. But we'll just have to wait and see how they all turn out.

Danica, yes. Stenhouse, no.

I mean, he won Nationwide Championship in '11 and '12. How much more experience do you need to progress?

Somewhere Kevin Conway is laughing, and stroking his ROTY award.

I actually follow Kevin Conway on twitter. He races lamborghinis in Europe now...

...does his new team "collect" the same paycheck from Extenze as Front Row, Nemco, and Robby Gordon?

They're not ready to run up front every week, but BK Racing isn't going to do that anyway. At least this gives both seat time in a Cup ride that they would not have otherwise had. Ryan Truex started what, 4 Nascar races all last year? Better to race, than to not race.

Exactly. I didn't think of it from that aspect.
