It's not often that I paint up some new stuff, but I figured I'd share a few rides I've done over the past year.

Credits:
Bases: Most are my own, except for a couple from Paint by Rah
Numbers: Variety of places, including BER, SRD, Google
Logos: Also a variety, including BER, SRD, Google, etc.
Templates: SRD, BER, And Bill's Place (I think?)

First up are a few cars that I planned to use for various offline leagues. The PPG was a concept inverse of the swatch scheme featured below. The base on the Axalta car is rough, largely due to me being lazy and not wanting to draw the flames again, so I scaled it up from an N3 base I made in.. 12 or 13.


Next up are a few cars for the USORL League. I also run most of these cup schemes in the SRD Cup Series.


Finally, my team cars for an offline league simulation of the 2017 season.
I run the 82, my friend Chad runs the 80 (but doesn't know it), my friend Will runs the 31 (also doesn't know), my wife runs the 32 (she knows), my friend Steve runs the 67 (he knows, thinks it's cool), and former NASCAR driver Marc Madison runs the 14 in ARCA (he also knows and thinks it's pretty cool too). @Tim2488 also runs the 81 in Cup for my team, and occasionally the 30 in Xfinity.

There will likely be a few more schemes added here with Darlington coming up.

Before anyone asks, I will likely not release these but I may consider it. Thoughts?

Thanks guys, I appreciate it! The Northland was based on Annett fic I did a cople years back... but I liked it so much that I stuck a six on it. (Valvoline didn't appreciate it much though )

The Black and white CC car is based off of the old Mopar schemes. I know it's wrong because this is a Ford, but hey, it works really well.

 

I forgot one - My 2017 Skyjacker rider for the SRD Truck Series. I based it off of the Jeep on the decklid.

I love that you painted the rims to look like beadlocks

2017 Darlington Throwbacks for an offline league.

First up, the #31 Bobcat Camaro driven by Will May. This is a throwback to Jim Vandiver, 1973 Darlington.

Here's a cool story about that race:
One of the more colorful tales of Jim's career involves a "family matter" as well. Tom Vandiver explains: "In 1973 Jim was in the middle of a custody case at the time of the Darlington race. His lawyer got a continuance from the South Carolina court until after the race - or so he thought. Before our second pit stop, I noticed two uniformed officers standing at the back of our pits. During the pit stop I yelled to Jim "The police are going to arrest you after the race for contempt of court!" Not sure if he heard me. I later held up a pit board with the message "LAW" on it. As the race wore on, we got in a wreck that made the car run slower and slower. Normally Jim would have pulled the car in and parked/but he was determined to avoid the bad publicity of being arrested. Around the mid-point of the race, he came down the frontstretch with his safety net down and waved "bye-bye" to us. He intentionally spun the car in turn three to bring out a caution flag. Then he scrambled out of his car, ran up the banking and jumped over the wall! The crew split up and looked for Jim all over the parking lots, campgrounds and infield with no luck. After several hours of searching in the 100 degree heat, I was called to a pay phone in the garage area. There was Jim on the other end, laughing! He told me that he had hitch-hiked in his driving uniform and was already safe back at home in North Carolina - sitting in the air conditioning and drinking iced tea!"


Next, the #32 K&N Filters Camaro driven by Calessa English. It's a throwback to Patty Moise in 1989.


Next up, the #80 Quikcrete Chevy SS driven by Chad Wright, a throwback to Gary Fedewa, 1986.


Finally, the #82 Falken Tire Chevy SS driven by Sean English. A throwback to Janet Guthrie, 1980.

 

Sean you killed it with these throwbacks this year

Valvoline cars look nice Sean. I was thinking about NFS but decided not to do it, and figured someone else in our league would run it.

 

I'm a sucker for Valvoline cars and those came out great.

 

You need to transfer the Valvoline base to one of your Falken cars for SARA. It would look great.

 

One more: Band Theme

Foo Fighters, Concrete and Gold. Extremely basic scheme, but so is the album art. I have this in-game with Gold wheels.
