Are there any real life racers on here? (racing for real, not on a sim.) If so, can you post what you race, and a few pictures of your race car? And maybe your track/series website, and anything else you want to include.
I've been racing 4 cyl enduro cars since I turned 16. My first race car was a 1989 dodge daytona, which I raced once, and blew up. My next car was a 1992 ford escort pony. I raced that one for a few years, on 1/4 mile tracks and a few ice races on a frozen lake. My newest car is a 1992 mazda protege lx. I've raced it on many different tracks, including multiple 1/4 mile paved tracks, a few 1/3 mile dirt tracks, the Milwaukee Mile, and a few other tracks. I ran at 141 speedway in Francis Creek, Wi, for my first year or two of racing. Then they closed and turned it into a dirt track, and only held one enduro. After that, I've run the Impact Survival Series (Home) full time until this season. I'm taking this season off due to college, but I plan on getting back into racing again as soon as I can afford it. Also, I've run a few races in the Gladiator Endurance Series (known as the Midwest Enduro Series at the time.), including the Milwaukee Mile race. That was fun, as I was running 105 mph, and hardly had to lift in the corners. For the 1/4 mile tracks, we run 300 laps, 1/3 mile tracks 200, and we ran 150 laps at the milwaukee mile. Also, as will see in the pictures below, our cars get pretty beat up after a few races. Thats because we race with up to 100 cars on the track at once. The most I've raced with is 98 cars, on a 1/4 mile track. Lots of bumping and rubbing there. lol
Anyways, here are a few pictures of my race cars.
