i saw it live while i was like 6....of course i thought it was the coolest thing i'd ever seen....

Heck, I was 5 and I was thinking "Oh gosh, he's dead! Not Geoff! Not him!" I just cried, and then I saw him wave to everyone, and I just didn't know how to feel. 2000 was my first full season of watching it. I didn't see every race, and I didn't start that streak until 2001. Witch may i add is still going.

Actually, because of the angle he slid into the wall, the hit was only about 70 mph. NASCAR Physics are actually the only physics I'd take a class in.
